My students are active, energetic learners who spend a majority of our class time collaborating with peers. I strive to make meaningful lessons that allow them to stretch their creativity and talk to one another to explore reading and writing. While I have tried every seating arrangement that my classroom allows to transform our traditional rowed desks into collaborative, inviting, and engaging groups, nothing has worked. That is where your donations will transform my classroom. I will use the futon, beanless bag inflatable chairs and saucer chairs to create flexible seating in groups. The desks with cubbies will be used for collaborative group discussions and table top teamwork. I imagine how well my students could learn if they had other seating options and group seating to allow the movement, collaboration and learning they desire. My students deserve this space, and I hope you will consider donating to my well-deserving classroom
