We don’t want our students taking this milestone of committing to a college and/or career for granted. We want to help our students celebrate and also encourage the underclassmen to pursue post-secondary education. We are honoring our seniors by announcing their college decisions on stage in front of the underclassmen. We are celebrating with them by inviting our community members, parents, students, teachers, and faculty to cheer them on! We are asking for donations so that we can purchase a laptop for one of our graduating seniors, an e-reader for them to be able to download textbooks, and two micro fridges for those attending colleges and residing on campus. These items are purchases that our students might not be able to afford otherwise. These gifts will help create excitement for our seniors as well as encourage and build anticipation for our underclassmen. Our hope is that this event will encourage and motivate our rising seniors to reflect upon their own college decisions and inspire them to work hard towards their own College Decision Day event!
