Many of my students are not working at grade level when they enter my classroom. As young learners, behind the national average, it is imperative they work with the concrete to get a working understanding of the concept before moving into the abstract. Base 10 blocks are an excellent tool used in learning the concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Combine this with Place Value skills and students will have a strong foundation for future math understanding. Your generous donation will allow my students to learn best with concrete tools in their hands so they can explore combining what they already know to learn new concepts and skills.
