Kindergarten students love to explore new things, touch real life objects and learn about the nature that surrounds them everyday. Most students in my classroom do not have the opportunity to visit museums, zoos, aquariums and other places of learning-so we must bring these experiences to them! These materials will bring nature into the school setting and allow children to see caterpillars change into butterflies, become entomologists learning how insects survive, and be young scientists. Hands on science materials promote exploration, investigation, and critical thinking skills in the kindergarten classroom. These learning tools are critical to this important process of developing a love for science, investigating, and problem solving at an early age!

About my class
