Our students come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. At Irving we try to provide our students with a number of multicultural activities. I believe music is one of the best ways to have students experience the sound of music through out our world. Our school understands the importance of music education and has excellent choir, band, and orchestral groups. We have a large number of students in our band and orchestra programs and close to 400 students participate in our before and after school choirs. 140 students attend our 7th grade morning choir at 7:00 am on Wednesdays and 135 6th graders come in on Friday mornings at the same time. We have three groups for our 8th grade students with over 120 students participating. We LOVE to sing at Irving!
