These materials will help children by building on their curiosity and excitement about science and it will help lay the foundation for continued scientific inquiry. Through these explorations with these materials we are making science content and scientific thinking accessible and meaningful for the children. Water play encourages language and discussion about what is going on. These materials are designed to help the children explore the properties of water in an exciting, open-ended way! These materials are fun for the children to watch how water flows, and they can engineer their own water play fun! I chose a flow water table with tubes and funnels, and a water exploration station for this purpose.
