All of my students have different sensory needs, and require a lot of different items and equipment to help meet these needs. One of the items that my students need the most are weighted blankets. These blankets will be used to help with relaxation during nap time, as well as at other times of the day, by helping calm their bodies. There are certain times of the day when my students become especially overstimulated and need materials that calm them. The weighted blankets will be used at those times as well. My ultimate goal is to provide my students with all of the resources that they need to help keep their sensory needs met, so that they are able to get back to learning and being successful in school!
