During my math rotations, one station is math games. These games are an excellent way for the students to practice skills while having fun. Lately, I've seen my students gravitate to the few logic games and the one building activity I have available. I am excited to foster the ingenuity these experiences provide. I want to supply my students with additional STEM activities as choices to explore hands-on learning. I believe that all students need this kinesthetic learning, not just early finishers. By providing additional brain-building activities, I hope to keep the love of learning alive. Two of the games I am most excited about are the "Square-Up" game and the KEVA blocks. The "Square-Up" game is a visual thinking game, providing the students with a fast-paced, problem solving experience. The KEVA's blocks will supply the students with endless creative building opportunities. I look forward to the excitement of my students when I introduce each of the activities into our centers.
