The pillow chairs, floor pillows, a carpet, clipboards, and markers I am requesting already have a home. We just need some help actually getting them to their home! My current classroom has an excellent spot to make into a cozy reading nook, but right now, it's not a very inviting place. The bean bags and carpet that I have are worn out and need some attention. I want my students to be excited about getting comfy and settling in to read a good book. Many of them have moved on to reading chapter books, so they are staying in one place for longer periods of time. The materials I currently have are in very high demand! I want to be able to give my students an organized, inviting, and comfy place to read and work during their independent time.
