Do you think kids learn best by sitting and getting their work done? Nope, they don't! Most kids have a hard time sitting still, concentrating, and applying themselves in controlled settings like classrooms sometimes are. While things like recess and brain breaks are helpful to stimulating small minds, sometimes they just need a little more! Little bodies are meant to move, wiggle, and shake! In addition to the frequent brain breaks that our class takes, our students need seating that is developmentally appropriate. With wobble stools, our class will be able to safely move, wiggle, and shake during their work time and at guided reading. This will increase students' productivity, application of knowledge, and overall learning.
