In my classroom I place a large emphasis on learning through purposeful play. I would love for my students to have the opportunity to explore, and naturally learn through sensory play. I want to bring the outside world into my classroom. By providing my students with the opportunity to get messy with various sensory materials such as water, sand, soil, rice, mud, pouring, and sliding materials they will have more experiences stretching their sensors through purposeful play. My students will use the sensory bin to explore literacy, math, and science concepts. Students will use the sensory bin to lean about the alphabet, numbers, animal habitats, counting, science, and much more!
