My students are 4- and 5-years-old in a 4-year-old kindergarten classroom in a public school. My students are full of excitement, curiosity, and they come to school with a natural thirst to learn. To watch the learning that takes place in their eyes is almost magical. I want to provide as many hands-on activities and fun educational experiences as I can while they are with me. It is rewarding when they come into the classroom, with so much excitement, and visit places in our room like our science center. It is also rewarding when students say years from now, "I remember when we watched caterpillars hatch in your class, that was so neat!"
