The Spanish Alphabet Tub and Alphabet Books will be used during the beginning of the school year as an early literacy resource during small group instruction. The effective use of these materials, including the Spanish Emergent Readers Books, will help all the students in my classroom to develop a love for reading while learning the basic elements of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. The Spanish early literacy resources will be used for enrichment as the rigor of our Spanish Language Arts class increases during the school year to meet or exceed the students' academic projected growth in language arts.
