This project will help our readers gain strength and vision with reading. Our learners are engaged in lunch bunch readers along with our lunch learners. Students will share materials at lunch with our book share program. We have 80% of our students where English is their second language, students with behavior issues, and others with challenging home lives. Nearly all students are from low-income households and receive free lunch. The children love to read and use reading to not only learn but to explore the world. Reading is a gateway to knowledge and gives the children the opportunity to take an adventure outside of what they are used to. The students are excited to come to the Health/P.E. while learning about the body along with sports.

About my class
