I began introducing the concept of flexible seating this school year. All flexible seating options I purchased myself, out of pocket. I have seen a difference in the engagement of my students this year. They are eager to choose a seat that suits them and are more engaged in tasks because they are comfortable in their seat. The wobble stools are a flexible seating option that has been on my wish list and I know that they would be a well-loved addition to flexible seating in my classroom. Not all students are comfortable sitting in a hard chair for extended periods of time. The wobble stools provide students with safe movement while they are active and engaged in learning and can be used year after year.
