Using books that supports the subject matter allows students to experience other opinions on the same subject matter and also fosters critical thinking. Students will be writing reports and doing research. Having access to more resources than just using the Internet will be beneficial since it allows students to form their own opinions which creates discussions and meaningful dialogue. This in turn will also create writing opportunities for different types of writing skills. I want my students to be critical thinkers and also have a wide breadth of knowledge which they will use throughout their academic lives. Thank you very much.
