I am a 7th grade Mathematics teacher in Rural Georgia. Each day I have the honor to teach 5 classes filled with young minds the foundations of algebra, statistics, and the wonders of the mathematical world. As a mathematics teacher, I believe that math is the building block of success. I strive to motivate and inspire my students in the classroom so they build confidence and reach their goals. As a teacher at a Title I school, many of my students are below the poverty line with 75% receiving free or reduced breakfast and lunch. This often leaves me with the financial responsibility to provide everything from manipulatives, rulers, and calculators to basic school supplies and classroom decorations. Each project is designed to provide my students with the best opportunities and tools for success! They say it takes a village to raise a child- Thank you for being a part of our village!
