Studies have proven, children learn more through play than in any other way. As a teacher I have witnessed this to be true. Having manipulatives such as puppets during our read aloud will help keep my students engaged and entertained during the story; this will help them immensely with their comprehension. The puppets included in this Fairy Tale STEAM Kit could also be used by my students in order to retell the story told, using new vocabulary, emotions, and complete sentences. While in their stations they will be able to use the rest of the STEAM kits to think outside the box and work on their problem solving skills as well as their creativity.
