As a team, we have tried a variety of strategies that have helped our students remain on task and ready for learning. One of the most successful strategies has been the implementation of in class movement groups, but alas, we cannot offer movement groups all day long! However, we CAN transform our classroom by adding furniture that allows for movement throughout the day. This furniture would be a great step towards meeting our students’ needs. The wobble chairs, ball chairs and foot rests will allow the students to move while they learn without leaving their seats. The trampoline will be used for movement breaks, as needed, and to ease the transition between subjects.
