We don't have enough textbooks for our students. It is not in the budget to buy any more. We share books on a daily basis and students can't take books home to study. Having a textbook for each student will enable them to work individually and to continue their studies at home. Class time is precious and should be utilized for direct instruction. Right now, we spend a lot of time on classroom management because we have to share books. We only have three World History books for ten students and five Civics books for 10 students. We need so much more, but if we could start with this it would make a difference.
