Students love music! It is proven that songs and music help students retain important information. By bringing musical instruments into the classroom, students will become involved in creating the music. Music will be incorporated in all subjects. For reading, we will create a song, involve creative movement, and have our band. For math, students will count beats and add different beats together. For social studies, students will create dramas on what they are learning and use musical instruments to make dramatic sounds. By bringing musical instruments into the classroom, I will be able to reach all students and find each student's expertise.

About my class
