These materials will take my learners from a traditional desk and stay in your seat environment, to one of teamwork and community. This will help improve their focus and willingness to listen to others. The emphasis of succeeding on their own will transfer to flourishing and thriving together. The colorful classroom rug and couch will allow us to sit together as a community of learners to collaborate and innovate in a creative setting. These will enhance the classroom environment as well as foster a collaboration mindset. The ability to work together, especially in this technologically savvy culture, is important for our future scientists, mathematicians, politicians, and many other fields of importance.
