Active bodies equal active brains. We are requesting nine office chairs so my students will be able to wiggle and move while reading, writing, and working in small groups. Students love the concept of alternative seating. It doesn't matter if you are an honor student or a struggling reader, your day in a swiveling office chair is a great day. I have seen students thrive, focus better, and actually change their mood on the day they have special seating. Donations for this project will immediate impact my students on the daily basis. Wiggling while they work will provide my middle school students an engaging, safe seating arrangement.

About my class
