At our rural school, we have a large number of Special Education students who are mainstreamed into regular classes. In talking with some colleagues and doing some research, Balance Ball Chairs have been noted to help students with ADHD focus, while improving posture. Before ordering enough chairs for my entire classroom, I thought it might be good to try out the ball chairs with a couple of students who have ADHD. I hope the ability to gently bounce on the chairs will help the students, making their experience in the classroom more positive while improving their ability to focus on the lessons.
