The heavy duty 20 cubby unit with storage bins will make organizing and assigning independent work simple! My students will be able to access a variety of differentiated activities to increase their ability to work on independent academic tasks in the classroom. Independence is the greatest gift! Too often, students with disabilities can become dependent on adults to assist them. My students will feel pride in themselves as they learn to complete work tasks without teacher assistance and prompting. Having an independent work center will ensure that students are working on meaningful activities every day. Independence is one of the most important skills I can teach.
