Our classroom is composed of 36 scholars who come to school each day eager to learn. The scholars are split in two groups and they spend half their day learning in English and the other half in Spanish. Most of the 36 scholars in first grade have parents who are migrant farm workers. These scholars truly understand the value of hard work and they see their education as a way to a better life for themselves and their community.
