As an English class, my students are constantly in various textbooks, novels, and reference books. The two sets of metal bookshelves will provide a safe, organized place for these books, preventing damage to them. Since Hurricane Harvey, we have had to stack books on every surface of the science lab we are currently using until our classroom is rebuilt. Once our classroom is built back, it will be just a bare space and the requested metal bookshelves will be the first pieces serving students in the room. Right now, our classroom is a bare room with no storage for books. These metal bookshelves would give durable, cleanable, service to my students for many years. These shelves will also allow students flexible storage space for supplies and their resources throughout the year. The durable metal design can be easily cleaned and sanitized and the dark color will look good in the room for many years to come.
