Our classroom has very limited technology. We only have a CD player. Without the Kindles, my students will not have opportunities inside the classroom to use technology to learn. Kindle Fires will allow my students to learn letter recognition, number identification, shapes, colors, rhyming, and name writing at their own pace. It will allow me to differentiate the needs of my students, and give them the opportunity to learn the way that is best for them. Due to my student's economic status and the rural environment they live in, a lot of my students do not have access to the internet at home. It is very important for all students to have access to technology because it is what is demanded in our society today. The Kindle Fires will allow us to get apps and use the internet to help us learn and grow.
