In Geometry, the use of a ruler is an almost daily activity. I love for my students to create designs and complete geometric constructions because it makes learning about parallel lines, perpendicular lines, altitudes, medians, and angle bisectors so much more fun. My students will learn to create designs and geometric constructions using protractors, compasses, and rulers. After learning the properties of different geometric shapes, my students will create their own geometric mobile using their rulers, protractors, and compasses. My hope is that every student in my classroom will be able to use a ruler, protractor, and compass with confidence!!

About my class
