The classroom rug is where most of the gathering and learning occurs for all subjects. Right now, we are without a classroom rug. I want to provide my students with a safe and comfortable place to gather and learn! The students will be using this rug to learn and explore new literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. They will be using it during their work stations, as flexible seating options, and as a gathering space to share. The rug will also provide a sense of comfort for my students who are anxious and who need sensory contact with soft materials.
