I am a teacher of exceptional students who have many diverse special needs. These students have limited access to technology in our low-income school. Many of the students are at a critical point in their individual reading abilities. Project here on DonorsChoose.org, like our Chromebooks, will provide students a way to have stories and information from websites that are above their reading level read aloud. Our students don't have sufficient access to technology at school. These projects that provide technology like Chromebooks will provide a way for students to access websites, have books read orally, speak-to-text in a written document, translate from a parent's language, and help develop researching skills.
