We use the courtyard quite a bit when the weather is nice. Right now it only has landscape rocks to sit on so we are limited in what can be done outside. The tables would give us a work surface. We could actually do some lessons outside. Small groups could play games and work on projects outside. Picnic tables would give us the ability to get outside on nice days even more! Right now we are limited to going out there for our Drop Everything And Read (DEAR) time. We also read with our 3rd grade buddies out there but having tables would greatly expand our opportunities!
