Unfortunately in public school education, funds can only be stretched so far...... hence the need for something like this....DonorsChoose. Grade level classrooms are first priority. So classes such as mine, English as a Second Language, don't receive as many supplies or expensive technology equipment. Aside from a PC on my desk, there is no technology in my very small classroom. Because my class doesn't have a Smartboard, my students could benefit greatly with our own cart filled with Chromebooks! There are many educational websites for English Language Learners. Chromebooks would be a wonderful educational tool for my students....... learning is fun; but even more so incorporating computer enhanced activities and websites. Please help bring my classroom into the 21st century!
