I want to implement this project to provide a better learning environment for my Kindergartners. Kindergarten is such a crucial year and I feel with flexible seating the students will be able to focus and gain more knowledge. Sitting in any chair for extended periods of time has a negative effect on children physically which then leads to negative effects on them mentally. Students may seem restless or unable to concentrate when the real problem could be a lack of movement. I feel these resources can help close the gap on some of these issues. Students like to feel comfortable when they work! This is extremely important for my students. Students will be impacted by providing a safe, flexible environment to learn. This will provide better physical and mental activities for the students. This project will directly help at-risk students with providing an environment that is more conducive to learning.
