These students deserve to have culturally diverse books in their hands! Many students want to learn more about their own culture or other students' cultures and sometimes don't have the resources to do so. Having these amazing books will enable students to see themselves in book as well as learn about other cultures than their own. Also, when students see themselves in literature, it brings a new found love for reading and writing. Students become motivated and inspired that there are people out in the world going through hardships or issues just like them. Let's help to get these books in their hands!
