The library collection at Love Elementary is just about 30 years old. I am hoping to modernize it this year by bringing in relevant 21st century reading materials to encourage more student use of the collection and space. The faculty and administration are working hard to fill the achievement gap and the library is an integral part of this. We want the library and it's collection to support our students with their educational aspirations. This grant will help achieve this goal by bringing in organizational supplies that will make the stacks more inviting. It will also bring in books that are relevant to the students in our population. Finally this grant will supply our library a much needed updated globe for student exploration and global understanding. The supplies requested from this grant will be used immediately in our plan to update and modernize our library collection. thanks for considering our requests.
