We are in need of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics materials. I am looking to create a MakerSpace for students to explore and create projects using a variety of STEAM materials that will engage them and help them develop their emerging abstract learning skills. I added in the wobbly chairs to encourage my special needs students by adding in a sensory component to the space. Students who are excited by learning become better learners and making learning fun and challenging develops a positive mindset and increases self esteem. These STEAM projects will help my students become out-of-the box thinkers and provide them the opportunity to experience failures as a stepping stone not a road block to success.

About my class
