Alternative seating options have shown to contribute to better focus and more on-task behaviors. Our self-contained classroom is currently looking to add options that can help meet a range of sensory needs for our students as well as creating a fun and inviting learning environment. We are looking to add a carpet and cushions to our table that allows students to sit on the floor. The requested cube chairs would help provide boundaries at whole group activities.We would also like to add a quiet area with a carpet and comfy seating options for students to read and take a break.
