Our students with special needs participate in the Community Based Vocational Instruction (CBVI) program. Students go into the community daily to gain employability skills at individualized work sites. These students work extremely hard at their job sites daily for 2-3 hours. They work to prepare themselves for a positive post secondary employment opportunity. Many of these students are a part of this program for several years. Some of our students are offered uniforms for their jobs. Some jobs do not require a uniform. I would like to have all of our students in a uniform daily. All students gain life skills by taking care of their uniform. They wash, dry, and iron their uniforms to prepare for their work day/week. Our students would look more professional in a red polo verses what they are wearing to school. Those who are not issued a uniform from a work site will all coordinate and benefit from receiving a CBVI issued shirt. Please consider giving for our program.
