The Sandusky Mobile Bookcase will allow me to have easy access and storage for novels and literature commonly read during the high school years. The Crucible and The Great Gatsby are just a few of the many novels that students are reading these days. By having an easy to teach guidebook and a copy of the book, I will be able to read alongside students and best serve them through discussion and 1:1 teaching as they learn new and sometimes complicated vocabulary and concepts. I have found through past experiences, that students connect best with you when you can relate to what they're experiencing. Students want to be heard and understood. When they see that you are reading what they are reading and that you want to help them better understand it, they are motivated to work toward their goals and to improve their learning.
