As the guidance counselor for my school, I have the privilege of watching my students grow and mature from early elementary age into middle school ready. Part of this process includes teaching these little people how to self-regulate those huge emotions, and how to interact with people outside of their families. The soap will help in our efforts to keep all of our students healthy during flu season this winter so that they do not miss school. The books have all been carefully selected to address specific topics of interest for my students. Teaching a lesson that builds character from a book that resonates with my students is not only inspirational, but also encourages my students to pick up a book and read on their own! Self-awareness, self-love, diversity, inclusion, acceptance, and social skills are just a few of the topics that will be covered with the aid of these inspiring books.
