We are requesting two Chromebooks and four sets of headphones. Smarty Ants is a data driven online personalized reading program for young readers. My students are required to complete 20 minutes twice per week on Smarty Ants. We currently have two Chromebooks to share between 22 students which makes meeting our goal difficult. This program has shown great results with increase in the reading levels of my students. Students are engaged through different games to increase letter, sound and word building skills. Learners gain rewards for their completion of each level. Adding two new Chrome Books and headphones would help us meet our goals and greatly benefit the reading skills of these kids.
