My students would be able to improve their reading and math skills through the use of Chromebooks, especially during differentiated instruction time. While I am teaching a group of students at the Teacher Led Center, other students would be able to remediate and further enrich their knowledge of reading and math concepts through the use of educational technology at a Technology Center. Programs, such as iReady, MyOn, and Reflex math, would provide my students with specifically targeted instruction in a hands-on way. Since many of my students do not have access to technology or the internet at home, my classroom is one of the few places they have the opportunity to use educational technology to expand their knowledge and increase their excitement about learning. Providing students with Chromebooks would increase the amount of support students receive academically, while, also, growing their confidence in learning and school.
