Can you image that you walk in to a 2nd grade classroom and there's only one set of textbook that students can read with? Can you imagine that the teacher in the classroom can never read a story to her students because of a shortage books in the classroom? Reading for pleasure helps students develop academically. My students need books to read for pleasure to build reading habits, reading skills, vocabulary accumulation, writing skills, and more that can help to develop their academic learning outcome. Also, the teacher needs books to read stories to students, which we all enjoyed when we were in elementary school.

About my class
