A special needs child has a difficult time staying in one spot. They tend to work better when they can move freely. The students in my class are up sometimes standing, sitting on their feet instead of their butt, and even sometimes scoot their chair in other students´ space from not being able to sit their correctly. With removing the restriction of a normal four legged chair, my students can wobble when they need. They can move and spin freely with the wobble chair. With the wobble chairs, we can still teach the students to sit properly and stop having to worry about behaviors while they are doing their assignments.
