My school is a Title I school where resources are very thin and sports relive the economic tension the kids experience. Last football season the team made the playoff for the first time in ten years and we did not have the correct footballs to participate in the game. Luckily the opposing team allowed us to borrow their footballs. The experience was very embarrassing for the kids. The kids play showed and the result was a defeat. My students need the footballs, stopwatch, game ball prep kit, and metal whistles for the season to be able to the football games. The equipment being donated will be very appreciated and will help the kids practice with confidence knowing that they are using the correct equipment to play the game they love.
