These new headphones would improve all of my students abilities to learn more fluidly when working independently on certain tasks. My students would be able to look up the necessary materials (videos) to help them support their school work and grasp the new knowledge. Plus, my students will be wasting less learning time sorting through broken headphones from the early 1990's that have not ever been replaced with more updated technology. The biggest difference would be for my students that are hard of hearing or need to have electronic tests read to them by the computer! I have had many students that have accommodations under an IEP for items that require headphones, and the reasons vary. Just a few I have personal had in my classroom are: Test will be read to the student, students will receive time on an electronic device as a reward, access to word processor, as well as text to speech option.
