My students are absolutely amazing in every single way possible! Yes, they make me crazy but they make me crazy in ways I've never experienced before. My students are real. My students are genuine. My students are me... My students have taught me life lessons that I wouldn't have learned without meeting them personally. My students know I'm there FOR THEM day in and day out. My students know that even if life is hard at home, they can have a safe learning environment in my classroom. My students know I care for them, and some day it's more than I think to care for myself. My students know I love them and that I crave teaching them every single day. My students may be irritated by my optimism but that's okay. I love my career choice and I wouldn't trade my position at Balliet Middle School for any other! I feel important and valuable and it is my job to coach my students to find the outlets they truly love in life!
