We currently have a small classroom carpet for our whole group time. The children very close together and it can create disruptions in our whole group learning. We would like a larger space to accommodate our active learning environment. Having personal space creates a safe learning environment. We need a larger carpet to provide more personal space during whole group instruction. The addition of a larger classroom rug would benefit our students by providing personal space and room to cultivate a strong classroom community. My goal is to enhance the classroom environment to foster a love for learning in my Pre-K classroom.
