My students love to sing, and they take great pride in developing their voices. As the voice is made inside their bodies, many of my students struggle to self-assess their voices. The materials we are asking for will be used to make and store singing phones. Singing phones are constructed for students to sing into and be able to hear themselves much more clearly than if they were just singing out into the room, making it easier to self-assess. The duct tape will grab students' attention and help them to give their own personality to their classroom equipment. By donating to our project, you would be giving us the materials needed to create singing phones that would give my students a much needed tool they can use to self-assess and grow in their musicianship. Students will be able to develop their voices and their listening skills and grow to be lovers and makers of music!
